I would like to extend a warm welcome to Christine Whelan our newest member here on the Inspirational Transformational Network. Christine will be a frequent contributor here at the network with her blog titled; Life and Afterlife: A Partnership.
I am honoured that Christine is sharing her written words with the site. Christine’s writings carry a great deal of energy and power. When I read her work I’m always left with the feeling that I’ve been touched by something at a deep level. Please welcome Christine’s first blog as she offers her time and energy to each of us as we journey together, learning and growing. As time accelerates and our days become busier and busier I appreciate the creative souls who take the time to educate, share and inspire others. So, from me to you -- my dear friend Christine, my warmest thanks and wishes. Many blessings always.
Christine spent her childhood always feeling a whole other world going on, just on the other side of a curtain. At an early age, she began to wake up to the intrigue of the paranormal and the unexplained, and was exposed to experiences enhancing this fascination, opening her mind to many possibilities. At the age of 10, she was invited to a slumber party where she was taught how to levitate; by the age of 12 she was pre-occupied with learning how to hold a séance.
Christine was known as the little girl with the wild and vivid imagination, as she tried to communicate to the adult world that “this tree is very sad” or “that house needs help”. She was repeatedly told “It’s all in your head. It’s just your imagination.”
What no one told her was she was experiencing the gifts of Clairsentience and Claircognizance.
The messages she received throughout the years provided Christine with the education she needed. The guidance she received came first as a child and from many sources. These loving, guiding words were of identifying life purpose, the importance of intuition and individuality, focusing on life’s basics, and reaching one’s potential. The day Christine created her life mission statement as part of her own self-discovery journey she was given, “To educate individuals of their powers within.” In her workshops she consistently is encouraged to communicate, “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% what you do with it.”
In the summer of 2003, Christine was guided to reside in the home she now lives in, in the town she lived in as a young girl; the town she has always said held her heart. The day she moved in on her own, she realized there was at least one other soul with her, a woman.
As time went on, it was discovered that this property was rich in spiritual history, trauma, drama and child’s play, supporting several vortices as portals to the other side. Christine also remembered, after living in the house for a couple years already, that she had been obsessed with the property going back as far as 5 years old. Research has been found to support the story of this house going back centuries, involving Christine’s ancestors.
Many sweeping changes have spun Christine into a vortex all her own since she moved into the house described as a “highway of souls” and a “storm of energy”. One major shift has involved taking off the counsellor and facilitator hat and putting on the writer’s hat, combining what she has gathered and verbally shared in the past 18 years by being both counsellor and facilitator, adding the more recently acquired knowledge and insights of the spirit world, and presenting it in written form, bringing back her younger years’ experience as a part-time freelance writer. It’s mind altering stuff!!
